We had an amazing experience snorkeling in Taiwan for the first time (see Pingtung, Taiwan – From Snorkeling & Sashimi to Belugas & Puffins). So, we couldn’t wait for our next chance to explore underwater. We heard that Xiao Liu Qiu (琉球嶼) or Lambai Island is a great destination for snorkeling. It’s famous for it’s large quantity of sea turtles, which sounded intriguing. But nothing could prepare us for the amazing experience of swimming with them up close and personal!
Vase Rock (花瓶石) XiaoLiuQiu, Taiwan
Xiao Liu Qiu (known by several other names) is a tiny island just off the southwest coast of Kaohsiung, Taiwan. It is located in Pingtung County and can be reached by ferry from Donggan (東港).
